District Plan Change 9- Housing for Everyone – Operative
Rotorua District plan
Rotorua Lakes Council notifies that it has made its decision on Plan Change 9 – Housing for Everyone – to the Rotorua District Plan.
The Council has decided to accept all the recommendations of the Independent Hearings Panel on Plan Change 9. The final changes to the District Plan that comprise this decision can be found:
- On the Council’s Kōrero mai | Let's talk webpage (letstalk.rotorualakescouncil.nz)
- at the Rotorua Library, 1127 Haupapa Street, Rotorua; and
- at customer reception Rotorua Lakes Council, 1061 Haupapa Street, Rotorua
Changes of minor effect have also been incorporated at the beginning of the Light and Earthworks Chapters, as noted in the annotations in the District Plan text provided in the locations listed above.
Plan Change 9 will become operative from 2 March 2024.
This notice is given under clause 102, Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act 1991.
