The Mayor announced the Council’s priorities for the 2022-25 triennium at a meeting of the Council on 15 December 2022. The priorities will set the focus and drive work programmes for the next three years. Council priorities for this term focus on addressing significant challenges faced by the Rotorua community and a call from residents for action on these, Mayor Tania Tapsell said.
The priorities are housing, economy, infrastructure and community, each with a set of key outcomes and founded on cultural wellbeing and respect; social wellbeing, equity and safety; economic resilience; and climate adaptation.
