Te Kimihanga | The Search was a survey of Rotorua locals was designed to better understand the different groups of people who live in Rotorua; enabling Council to become more accessible and relevant to more of our community. More than 1240 residents completed the survey over a four week period in October-November 2023.
The survey asked residents a range of questions including:
- Where they get their council information from
- Attitudes towards Council
- Feelings about living in Rotorua and
- Attitudes towards the environment
