Notice of chemical application

The public is advised that the Rotorua Lakes Council will be conducting the following weed spraying and animal pest control during September 2022 to December 2022.

Urban/Rural Reserves - Glyphosate & Slikka; to control weeds around fence lines etc.

(Incl The Redwoods) Tordon Brushkiller, Image & Conquest; to control noxious weeds (eg: blackberry, gorse & broom).

Gardens Saprol, Maverick to control insects and fungus on Roses.

Sanatorium Reserve/Government Gardens bush areas Diphacinone for rats in bait stations. Pindone for Rabbits.

Jackson Park Mechanical traps for rats and/or Diphacinone bait stations.

Urban/Rural road sides, Cycleways, CBD Paving - Glyphosate; to control general weeds Meturon & Tordon Brushkiller; to control noxious weeds (eg: blackberry, Gorse & Broom);

The date and time after application for safe re-entry is listed on the on-site specific area signage.
