The 20-day statutory working day clock is on hold from 20 December 2024 to 10 January 2025 for building consents, resource consents and land information memorandums.
During the closure period we will be accepting electronic lodgements of consents only, but vetting will not begin until Monday 6 January 2025.

Complaints
Customers can appeal or complain about any building control function performed by the building consent authority. Complaints offer valuable feedback on our services and help us improve. To file a complaint, please submit it in writing, either in person or by mail. Anonymous complaints or complaints not made in writing will not be addressed. We will respond to all complaints promptly.
