Water service fees and charges
For all water, stormwater, wastewater and trade waste services, please see our current Fees and Charges page. This includes new connections, stormwater licences, backflow preventors and trade waste consents. All fees include GST.

Technical specifications for water infrastructure in Rotorua
Rotorua Lakes Council has adopted the Regional Infrastructure Technical Specifications (RITS) as its Code of Practice.
RITS is a document that sets out how to design and construct water supply, wastewater, stormwater and other infrastructure.
RITS consultation now open
A new version of the RITS (RITS version 2b) is now open for feedback from 12 November and closes at 5pm, 12 December 2024.
