Subject: LGOIMA request - CEH motels
I refer to your letter of 9 October 2024,which included the following requests under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act (LGOIMA):
2. We request under s 10 of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act (LGOIMA) all information and documents held by Rotorua Lakes Council since 14 December 2022 relating to:
- All complaints received by Council in respect of the contracted emergency housing motels (CEH Motels) and Council’s responses and/or action taken for each complaint; and
- Any notices served on the CEH Motels under the Building Act 2004, any responses to those notices and any follow up action from Council; and
- The occupancy rates for the CEH Motels (to the extent that they are still being used as contracted emergency housing).
