Subject: LGOIMA request - credit card spending
I refer to your LGOIMA request of 11 January 2022 regarding elected member and senior executive leadership credit card spending, and respond below as per your request:
- If elected members or members of senior executive leadership (e.g. chief executive and or the tier below - executive leadership team members) have the use of an organisational credit card.
Yes the Mayor and some of the Senior Executive Team have use of an organisational credit card, as follows:- Her Worship the Mayor, Steve Chadwick
- CE Geoff Williams
- DCE Chief Executive’s Group, Craig Tiriana
- DCE District Development, Jean-Paul Gaston
- DCE Organisational Enablement, Thomas Collé
- DCE District Leadership and Democracy, Oonagh Hopkins
- Former DCE Community Wellbeing, Jocelyn Mikaere
- If they do, please provide a breakdown of their transactions between November 8 2020 to November 7 2021, including:
- The name of the person and their role, and what the limit is on the credit card they use.
- For each transaction, how much it was specifically, what the spending was for, and when and where.
Attached is a spreadsheet containing separate sheets for each Purchasing Card holder as above. The credit card limit is included in each sheet.
- Please also provide an explanation of the process of checks and balances for the approval of the credit card spending, and please provide any policies or guidelines your organisation has for the use of organisational credit cards.

- Please also indicate, for each person, if they had any credit card spending declined (that is, not approved by the organisation after the fact), and if so, the details of those transactions and if they were paid back.
No credit card spending was declined
