Subject: LGOIMA request - CO2 emissions created when building new lakefront
I refer to your Official Information request of 6 August 2021 requesting the CO2 emissions created by Council when building the new lakefront.
The Council’s Climate Action Plan section M4.1 (approved in 2021) includes the action: “Council to review sustainable procurement policy and increase provisions for low carbon procurement including carbon assessment of significant capital works”. This work has yet to be undertaken.
Your request is therefore declined under section 17(e) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act ‘that the document alleged to contain the information requested does not exist …’
