Subject: Official Information request - parking enforcement officers
I refer to your online Official Information request enquiring whether i-Park parking enforcement employees appointed by RLC as parking wardens are appointed under section 128D of the Land Transfer Act 1998.
Rotorua Lakes Council is the enforcement authority. All i-Park parking wardens are appointed as Enforcement Officers under section 128D of the Land Transport Act 1998 and are warranted officers of the enforcement authority.
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review our decision. Complaints can be sent by email to info@ombudsman.parliament.nz, by fax to (04) 471 2254, or by post to The Ombudsman, PO Box 10152, Wellington 6143.
