Subject: Official Information Act request - incidents on CCTV cameras between 1145 and 1159 Arawa Street
I refer to your email of 3 April 2019 requesting the following:
How many incidents recorded on the CCTV cameras have required police or other security personal intervention within the address parameters of 1145 and 1159 Arawa Street, Rotorua, between 1 December 2018 and 1st April 2019.
If there are such incidents,
1. What was the nature of the incident.
2. What was the date and time of the incident?
3. If police or other security attended, which agency and how many personal?
4. For the avoidance of doubt this request should also cover the southern side of Arawa Street based on the street numbers given.
Attached is a schedule of the incidents that occurred within the requested area and within the stipulated dates. Identifying details have been redacted as per section 7(2)(a) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act "protect the privacy of natural persons "
Please note that partner agency staff attendance numbers have not been recorded in the attached schedule. We recommend that you contact the New Zealand Police directly if you wish to seek further information about their respective decisions for the listed incidents. We do not record how many security staff attend each event. During this period there were generally 4x security staff patrolling and they may or may not attend individual events as part of their patrols depending on this situation.
