Official Information Request - 23 August 2019 (Parking meter)

Subject: Information request - parking meter income and expenditure
I refer to your request of 23 August 2019 wishing to know what profit Council gets from the new parking meters and where is the money going.
RLC receives all revenue collected from the parking machines. A monthly payment to I-Park is made for providing parking services, technology and back office administration. Given the phased implementation of the parking regime, it is too early to accurately comment on profit figures and any intended end use .
