Reporter who yesterday requested conference data for 2023 and projected for 2024 came back to us today requesting data for 2022.

We provided the following information in response to request for 2022 data:

Calendar Year 2022

20 Conferences in total

All held at the EEC

Total number of Delegates 7,587

NB:

Impacted by covid restrictions in the first half of the year i.e. large gatherings, social distancing etc

First large conference was held in June with 1,150 attending

I'm wondering what the event that brought in 1,150 was called?

Also, why was the Sir Howard Morrison Centre not used in 2020? Was it Covid-19 reasons?

Re why Sir Howard Morrison Centre wasn’t used – I presume you mean in 2022 rather than 2020: it was closed at the time (closed early Nov 2017), it’s undergone seismic strengthening and redevelopment and re-opened Feb 2023.
