We received a large number of media enquiries today in relation to the fumarole on Lake Road, which were all responded to on an individual basis. Enquiries came from both local and national media including print, radio television and Maori media.

In most cases, reporters were referred to the running updates on our website.
Peter Brownbridge (Licensing Officer – Geothermal Inspector) will be doing an interview with Today FM tomorrow morning at 6.50am.

Reporter was informed that the residential info was still being collated, that there would be an update providing the year-end picture re residential consenting at the August Operations & Monitoring Committee and we would contact her prior to that if she wished to assist with an article relating to residential.
