Subject: LGOIMA request - council restructure and museum
I refer to your LGOIMA requests of 10 November 2023 regarding the Council restructure and CE’s appointment, and the Museum, and provide the following responses:
- Council restructure and CE’s appointment – request new management structure, appointments, responsibilities and salary adjustments, and the process and criteria for appointing a new CE.

Attached is the new management structure showing the areas each Group Manager or Executive Director are responsible for.
Management structure
With regard the appointment of a new CE, recruitment is being managed through Sheffield, a recruitment company. Applications closed on 3 November 2023. Attached is information from the Sheffield website when the position was open. The final appointment of a new Chief Executive is made by the Mayor and elected members.
