Subject: Official Information request - Funding applications made by council during this triennium
I refer to your online Official Information request of 23 August 2022 for the following information regarding funding applications made by this Council during this triennium:
- Name of fund application relates to
- What commitments council had to make to receive funding
- Amount applied for
- Whether it was approved or declined
- Amount approved
- Who initiated or suggested making the application
- If commitments made by council have been exercised
Attached are two spreadsheets:
- Major capital projects that have received Central Government and/or other funding – ‘External Funding - Major Capital Projects’
- Funding applications recorded through the External Funding Committee – ‘External Funding Spreadsheet – post October 2019’
Note: The ‘other funding’ recorded on the Major capital projects may be repeated in the External Funding Spreadsheet
The attached information was readily available, however to provide any more detail as requested would require staff to go back to each application to source the information (if available) and also to confirm with the staff involved if commitments (if any) had been exercised. This would involve substantial collation and research. Council declines the balance of your request under section 17(f) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act.
