Subject: LGOIMA REQUEST - Infrastructure Acceleration Fund Appendix 40A consents
I acknowledge your further Official Information request of 28 July 2022 regarding Appendix 40A – Schedule of Consents – Western from Council’s IAF – RFP Response Form, and respond to your queries below as per your email:
- BOPRC: Earthworks Consent
- BOPRC: Stormwater Diversion Consent
- BOPRC: Stormwater Discharge Consent
- WRC: Building consent for dam
If these have yet to be submitted, when will they be submitted? These consents have not been submitted. All projects referred to in the IAF application still require feasibility investigations to be undertaken. This is likely to take approximately 1-3 years to complete.
Will these Consents be Publicly Notified? This will be at the discretion of the consent authority (BOPRC or WRC).
If so, how will these be Publicly Notified and when? As above, this will be at the discretion of the consent authority (BOPRC or WRC).
If NOT, please explain why not? As above, this will be at the discretion of the consent authority (BOPRC or WRC).
In regards to the “Two detention basins 38,000m3 each” project itself:
- Please confirm exactly where on Springfield Golf Course the two “basins” will be situated including the most recent plans/designs. This will not be known until the feasibility investigations are undertaken.
- Please confirm when the construction will commence. See high level table below. These dates may change as the programmes proceeds.
- Please confirm how long the construction will take. See high level table below. These dates may change as the programmes proceeds.
- Please define what type of construction they will be…a Dam? A Basin? A Pond? and what the defined construction entails. This is not determined at this stage.
- Please outline how the contractors will access the two sites. This is not determined at this stage.
