I refer to your email of 27 January 2018 and reply below, as per your email:
- What were the sale proceeds allocated from the four properties sold in Elizabeth Street, that were originally bought for the now cancelled Victoria Street route? Where were the sale proceeds funds form these four properties allocated?The sale proceeds were:7 Elizabeth Street - $170,0009 Elizabeth Street - $250,0005A Elizabeth Street - $212,5007 King Street - $206,000Sale proceeds from capital properties are added to the general fund and go towards new capital projects or repayment of debt.
- What were the addresses of the four properties included in the Audit NZ report, carrying value of $644,000, that were excluded from the Land and Buildings Valuation because Council was unable to produce sufficient information to the valuer?The Audit Report refers to four items (properties) excluded from the valuation report, carrying a value of $644,000. The majority of this amount (one item) relates to preliminary costs associated with the purchase of the Elizabeth Street properties. The other three items relate to a segregation strip on State Highway 30, a small parcel of land beside a new bore site in Mamaku, and land at 64 Western Road.
