I refer to your request of 22 March 2018 regarding dog safety education, and provide the following responses as per your email:

1. The amount of dog safety education hours that were provided throughout Rotorua by the Rotorua City Council for the calendar years of 2016 and 2017.2016 - Rotorua Lakes Council was not involved in a dog safety education programme2017 - approximately 40 hours
2. The number of Preschool and Primary School facilities to receive dog safety education throughout Rotorua by the Rotorua City Council for the calendar years of 2016 and 2017.2016 - as above2017 - 1 pre-school and 6 Primary/Intermediate schools took up the opportunity for the Dog Bite Prevention talk
3. The number of children that received dog safety education throughout Rotorua by the Rotorua City Council for the calendar years of 2016 and 20172016 - as above2017 - approximately 350 children
