I refer to your letter of 29 March 2017 requesting information on stock complaints for the period 1 January 2015 to 1 January 2017, in support of proposed changes to the Impounding Act 1955.
The information is provided below as per your letter:

- Do all Territorial Authority Staff working under the Impounding Act 1955 hold current warrants of appointment as per the Impounding Act 1955? - Yes
- Do all Contractors working under the Impounding Act 1955 hold current warrants of appointment as per the Impounding Acty 1955? - N/A - After hours call outs are undertaken in-house
- Do all Territorial Authority staff that work with stock on state highways hold current Traffic Control certification as per Transit requirements? - No
- Do all Contractor staff that work with stock on state highways hold current Traffic Control certification as per Transit requirements? - N/A - After hours call outs are undertaken in-house
- Is there a STMS available within an hour of the worksite? - Yes
- Do you have a current generic Traffic Management Plan for staff working on roads with stock? - Yes
- Do staff and contractors that handle stock on the road have appropriate training to handle the stock? - Yes
