I'm doing a story on Tikanga Aroro Charitable Trust's intention to relocate the Puwhakamua prisoner reintegration programme to Waikite Valley.

The trust has told me it has applied for resource consent.

Are you able to let me know any details you can about the resource consent, including whether it will be publicly notified and what stage it is at.

We provided the following information:

Rotorua Lakes Council has received a resource consent application for a proposed re-integration facility at 671 Puaiti Road.

The applicant has requested notification to a limited number of people.

Our team is currently assessing the information submitted and we have not yet made any assessment about notification.
