I am writing a story about the Bay of Plenty Steamers making the final of the NPC and where games are played and larger venues available in the Bay of Plenty region.
My questions for the Rotorua Lakes Council are as follows:
Q1. What is Rotorua's council's reaction to the Bay of Plenty Steamers not playing at the larger Rotorua International Stadium stadium this season?
Q2. What is the seating capacity if the semi-final had been played at the larger Rotorua International Stadium?
Response
The reporter was informed that the Bay Steamers played two games at the Rotorua Stadium this season and the women’s team, the Volcanix, played one game there.
We also provided the following from a Rotorua Lakes Council Spokesperson:
We wish Kurt Eklund and the team all the best against Wellington this weekend. Go the Bay!
The stadium capacity is 18,000 for this type of event.

Topic: Submissions on MHUD resource consent applications for contracted emergency accommodation in motels
Enquiry
I'm just going through the submissions for the resource consent applications and the summary says there's 37 submitters - with just one opposed.
I can see the 36 submissions loaded on the website from those who are opposed but I can't see the submission from the one that is for it.
Can someone have a look and point me in the direction of the one submission that's for the proposal?
Response
The reporter was informed that one submission, that was opposed, had accidentally been omitted and would be added and we pointed her to the one that was in support of the proposal.
