Topic: Aquatic Centre redevelopment
Enquiry
*NOTE: this was an additional question relating to the enquiry we responded to yesterday regarding the Aquatic Centre redevelopment:
Can I ask if the council has deleted or hidden any comments on its facebook post about the opening and what were they?
Fewer there than I expected there to be.
Why were they hidden/deleted, and how many were there?
Response
The reporter was informed that council has not deleted or hidden any comments.

Topic: Tarawera sewerage scheme injunction application
Enquiry
After giving the reporter a heads up yesterday that Council had reapplied to the District Court for an injunction to enable works on the Tarawera sewerage scheme to continue along Tarawera Road, we received the following request:
can you send a copy of the injunction application or specify what's changed from the prior one, and what specific incident/s or concern/s prompted this step?
Subsequent from reporter:
so [the application] isn't yet with the court?
Can I please ask to be provided with the application and any supporting documents when sent to the court?
Response
From a council spokesperson:
RLC, following direction by elected members, has restarted its injunction proceedings to ensure that the conditions on site are safe for everyone so work can resume on site once Iwi have provided their views on cultural risks mitigation.
The injunction is with our lawyers, and we don’t have a copy.
From RLC in response to subsequent enquiry:
Regarding your request to be provided with the application and any supporting documents, we are treating this as a LGOIMA request due to the privacy of natural persons as these documents have not been requested from the Court file (where the Court may accept that restrictions should be imposed) nor read out in open Court.
