I'm currently writing a story about how to have an affordable wedding in the Bay.

Someone has mentioned to me that Kuirau Park and Govt Gardens are venues available for a $50 bond refunded after key is returned.

Was wondering if you could confirm this? Also, if you have any other free-to-use wedding venues in Rotorua

The following information was provided:

Bookings are essential (extra bins or toilets cleans can be provided with additional costs dependant on number of people and size of bins required).

The Band Rotunda (Govt. Gardens) - $90 booking fee

Murray Linton Rose Gardens – $37 booking fee

Redwoods - $50 concession fee

Centennial Park - $37 booking fee + $50 key (key money is refunded on return)

Klamath Falls Gardens (Govt. Gardens) - $37 booking fee + $50 key if required (key money is refunded on return)

All other reserves - $37 upon enquiry and approval.
