Reporter followed up on yesterday’ enquiry about removal from pound of after hours dog drop-off box:

can I please have an answer to why the box was removed ahead of when the public were told it would be?

We provided the following information:

The box was removed early in error. However, a sign was put up at the location to inform the public, that they can drop it off during operating hours or call the council to arrange a time to drop it off.
