Topic: Council services under Alert Level 3
Enquiry
Reporter sought information about what will change, in terms of council services, facilities and public spaces, at Level 3.
One specific query: I understand experienced people are allowed to go mountain biking on "easy, local tracks" under level 3. Will the council be opening up access to any such tracks in the district, for example, in the Whakarewarewa Forest?
Subsequent additional question:
One additional question: Which significant council construction projects will be resuming and how will any disruptions be managed?
Response
The FAQs are updated now on our website HERE. Please note that as clarification comes from the Government and as our teams learn to work within the new parameters these FAQs may need to be adjusted.
At the top of the webpage there is a summary of some key changes. If you want to flick to each section just use the links at the top so you don't need to scroll.
We will need to check in with various departments regarding specific projects and how they will operate. That may take some time now that it's the weekend and we have a public holiday on Monday. We will get something to you as soon as we are able.
Just one more thing, are you able to clarify what you mean by disruptions' in your question below? [note: reporter did not come back with clarification]
