Topic: Rotorua District Residents & Ratepayers submission and media release - District Plan Noise change
Inquiry
Rotorua's largest ratepayer group, RDRR, have made a submission to the RLC's district plan change 4 process.
It is attached for your reference and, in this case, agrees with many of the proposals in the draft plan, but adds a few of their ideas.
It will be the basis of an article outlining the process and what's next..
- How many submissions has the RLC received regarding this?
- When are the hearings?
- When is a final decision expected?
- Is anyone willing to comment on the content of the submission?
Response
Response from Jean-Paul Gaston, Strategy & Partnerships Group Manager -
We thank all submitters who contributed their feedback to the District Plan Change 4 - Noise. In total, Council received 19 submissions from individuals, businesses and groups in our community, which will help shape a decision on District Plan Change 4 - Noise.
The next stage in the process is for Council to summarise the submissions received, and provide the opportunity for further submissions. The summary of submissions will be available on the Council's website in the next few weeks.
This is a political submission into the District Plan change process and it would not be appropriate to comment. It will be considered along with all other submissions during the hearings process.
Hearings will be held later in the year.
