The reporter from the Rotorua Daily Post working on the story about Council's debt followed up for additional information regarding finalised revenue figures for September 2018.

Response

From Chief Financial Officer Thomas Colle:

The year to date total revenue for Council sits at $29 million.

As opportunities arise, Council will look at selling property that is surplus to requirements. For example a residential property in Ngongotaha was recently sold and another one will be on the market shortly.

Note for reporter: For your understanding, there is no current list of assets or properties that we are looking to sell. This is an ongoing process.
